Pencil in Black Ink No. 6 as a cosy stop for comfort food & caffeine, offering a calm respite from the cosmopolitan bustle.
Rice bowls are the highlight here, blanketed with beef rib-eye, onsen egg, pickled cucumber & radish (RM20), butter chicken masala with spicy cabbage (RM18) or salmon sashimi, tuna, edamame, seaweed & guacamole (RM20), for warm, solid meals.
Black Ink's hearty, reasonably priced efforts extend to its sandwiches, layered with sunny-side-up eggs, beef bacon & American cheese on toast (RM16) or basil pesto, baby spinach, sauteed mushrooms & melted cheddar (RM16). There's also a touch of fun creativity in the coffee, particularly the Volcano, overflowing lava-like over the saucer (RM12).
